About PowerScapesinc

Snow finds the ridges around Karns well before it bothers the valley floor, and the driveways up there run steeper than they photograph. PowerScapesinc works those nights and the black hours after them, pushing drives open shoulder to shoulder, clearing turnarounds wide enough to actually turn around in, shoveling the walks a blade can never reach. Ice melt goes on the grades and at the foot of the drive where the plow berm freezes hardest. Along Oak Ridge Highway the wind reloads what was just cleared, so the route swings back through. When the sun finally comes up over the ridge line, the pavement is open and the day can start.
