L&M Tree Service

About L&M Tree Service

Knoxville is built across ridges and hollows with the Tennessee River drawn through the middle, and late fall is when the shape of the town shows — leaves down, the ridgelines dark, every big oak suddenly visible from the street. L&M Tree Service reads that season like a map: which crown has a hole in it, which limb hangs over the bedroom, which tree has been quietly dying from the top down. Removals in close city yards get rigged and lowered rather than dropped, and trimming and pruning are done with a plan for how the tree will fill back in. When a summer storm comes up off the water and puts a limb through a fence, the crew clears it and hauls it away. Old shade is hard to replace, and it is worth the trouble to keep.
