Ground Effects Lawn and Landscaping

About Ground Effects Lawn and Landscaping

On a January morning the ridges out toward Hardin Valley hold their snow longer than the valley floor does, and the north-facing driveways hold their ice longer still. Ground Effects Lawn and Landscaping runs plow and spreader through those hours, clearing drives and lots and salting the shaded pitches that never catch a full hour of sun. Knox County snow is rarely deep and almost always slick, which makes de-icing the real work and timing the whole art of it. There is a plain pleasure in a cleared apron of concrete steaming faintly while the fields beyond it stay white. By the time traffic picks up on Pellissippi, the way in and out is already open.
