Canvas Lawn & Shrub Care

About Canvas Lawn & Shrub Care

Shrubs are the drawing and the lawn is the ground beneath it — that is how a Bearden front yard reads from Kingston Pike at forty miles an hour. Shaping hollies and boxwoods, thinning what has grown into the windows, cutting a hedge line true: shrub care is the half of the work most people notice without quite knowing why. The other half is mowing on rotation, edging, trimming, and feeding and weed control that hold color even from the street to the porch steps. Mulch in spring sets the whole thing off, dark against new green. By midsummer the picture holds together, and it holds because both halves get tended.
