About Supreme Services

The first true cut of March is a small event in Kingston: the ground finally firm, the fescue turning from straw to green, and the smell of cut grass back in the air over the valley for the first time since fall. Supreme Services starts the year there and stays with it — mowing on a rhythm, trimming close along the walls and posts, edging the drive so its line is unmistakable from the street. Through the deep humid stretch of a Tennessee summer the grass demands attention every week, and that is the point of coming back rather than showing up once. Then October comes down over the Swan Pond bottoms and the hardwoods on the ridges, and the leaves get gathered, hauled and gone. Yards handled from the first cut of spring to the last load of leaves.
