BOBS Lawn Service

About BOBS Lawn Service

At noon in July the square in downtown Kingston goes bright and still, cicadas grinding away in the shade trees along the street while the heat stands up off the pavement. BOBS Lawn Service keeps grass on a rhythm right through that stretch of summer — mowing, string trimming, edging clean against curb and sidewalk, clippings blown back off the concrete so nothing is left to yellow. Then a January system slides down out of the Cumberlands, glazes East Tennessee overnight, and the same work turns to winter: drives pushed open, walks shoveled and treated, the ice broken up at the foot of a slope where it always collects. Roane County only gets a handful of those mornings a year, which is precisely why somebody has to be watching for them. Two very different seasons, one yard at a time, both of them handled.
