About Risney Lawn & Landscapes

Up the Hawkins County side, past Church Hill, the ridge roads take their weather harder than Kingsport proper does — higher, more exposed, slower to give the snow back. Risney Lawn & Landscapes works that ground in winter, plowing drives and clearing walks for houses set well off the road. A long gravel approach wants a different hand than a short concrete one, and knowing which is which is the trade. The good moment comes at daybreak, when the field beside the house is still untouched white and the drive is a clean dark line running straight out to the mailbox. That contrast is the whole report card.
