First Cut Lawn Care

About First Cut Lawn Care

The first mow of the year in Kingsport usually lands in the middle of redbud winter — one of those late-March cold snaps that shows up after the trees have already committed. That cut is a specific pleasure: the mower loud after months in the shed, the grass thick and damp, and a yard going from shaggy to intentional inside an hour. First Cut Lawn Care builds its whole season on that morning, mowing, edging and trimming on a steady rotation until the last leaves are cleared in November. Between the ridges the grass grows fast and unevenly, so keeping the schedule is the craft itself. Every week it looks easy, and that is exactly the work.
