About New Hope Aquascapes

Winter turns the creek water around Jonesborough to black glass and lays a rind of ice along every still edge. New Hope Aquascapes works the season that follows a freeze — opening driveways and parking areas with a plow, shoveling steps and walks, and treating the ice that sets in overnight. In this part of East Tennessee a storm can leave two inches of snow with a sheet of ice underneath, and it is the ice that decides whether anybody gets out. Being finished before sunrise is the difference between a normal morning and a lost one. Cold work, done so nobody else has to think about it.
