About Terry Henderson Landscaping

Late October along Knob Creek Road the old maples let go all at once, and a lawn can vanish under leaves in a single windy afternoon. Terry Henderson Landscaping spends that stretch of the year in leaf work — blowing, raking and hauling until the grass shows again — after a summer of mowing, trimming, edging and keeping mulch beds tidy. The cold that follows in this corner of Washington County arrives in short hard shots, so the plow stays hitched and ready: drives cleared, walkways shoveled, salt laid at doorsteps and on the sloped approaches. A yard put to bed properly in November is a yard that wakes up green in April, and that arithmetic runs the whole trade. On the mornings that count, it is enough to see an open driveway with the light just coming over the hill.
