About Masterscapes Lawn & Landscaping

Buffalo Mountain leans over the south end of Johnson City like a long green shoulder, and around six in the evening its light turns a fresh-cut yard the color of poured felt. Masterscapes Lawn & Landscaping keeps its week inside that light — mowing, string trimming, edging along walks and drives, mulch pulled clean at the bed lines, clippings blown off the concrete before the truck ever moves. Come winter the same properties get plowed and shoveled and salted, usually while the ridge is still a dark outline against a gray sky. There is a particular satisfaction in a lawn whose edges look drawn with a straightedge, and another kind entirely in a driveway already black and wet when a homeowner opens the door. Both come from the same habit, worked out over a Washington County calendar.
