Mossy Oak Lawn Works

About Mossy Oak Lawn Works

The old oaks in Jefferson City hold their leaves late, then let them all go in a single week of November wind. Mossy Oak Lawn Works works under that canopy the whole year — mowing shaded turf that behaves nothing like sun-baked turf, trimming close around roots and trunks, edging beds, and pulling leaves off before they mat down and smother the grass. Shade lawns get a taller cut and a lighter hand; the open stretches get the full pattern. At the final cleanup the drifts of leaf litter along fencelines and bed edges are cleared, and the property goes down for the winter looking swept. Something about a yard that enters December already tidy just sits right.
