About Matthew’s Landscaping

By July the Sequatchie bottomland around Jasper is thick and humid, the corn tall, the ridgelines soft with a haze that does not lift until afternoon. Matthew's Landscaping keeps lawns in that heat — mowing, trimming and edging on a rhythm that stays ahead of grass fed by valley soil and evening thunderstorms. Yards here run from flat river bottom to the first pitch of the mountain, and each one wants a different approach with the mower. Spring and fall cleanups take out whatever the wind brings down off the bluff. The pleasure is in the finish: a sharp line along the walk, and the smell of cut grass hanging in the valley air.
