About Clark Cumberland Contracting

Anyone who drives the grade out of the Sequatchie Valley knows the weather changes on the way up — rain at the foot of the mountain and something whiter waiting at the top. Clark Cumberland Contracting builds its winter around that difference, plowing driveways and lots, shoveling entries and salting the slick spots that form where wind funnels between buildings. The work happens in the dark hours, headlights and falling flakes, so that daylight finds the pavement plain and gray again. It is unglamorous and it matters: nobody should have to break through a ridge of snow at the end of their own drive. Dunlap, Pikeville and the plateau roads toward Spencer.
