South Local Lawn Care

About South Local Lawn Care

South of town the cicadas run the afternoon, loud in the pin oaks from Malesus down toward Pinson, and August turns every yard into a negotiation. South Local Lawn Care takes it a week at a time — mowing, trimming, edging, hauling off the clippings, keeping the beds from disappearing. A crisp edge along a sidewalk is the detail people notice without naming; it is a line that says someone was here and meant it. Come fall the same route turns to leaf cleanup, sweetgum balls and all. Jackson, Malesus, Bemis and Pinson make up the run.
