Landers Lawn Service

About Landers Lawn Service

November takes its time getting here — the pin oaks over Whitehall Street hang on well past Thanksgiving, then let go all at once, and by the weekend a yard is ankle deep. Landers Lawn Service follows the year's whole arc in Jackson: cutting while the grass still runs, trimming and edging every pass, then hauling leaves off yard after yard until the turf can breathe again. There is something honest about raking a lawn back into view in the last good light of a short afternoon. Come the first mow of spring, that same yard comes up thick, and the work shows.
