About LWN, Co.

First light takes its time reaching Hunter — the sun has to clear the mountains before it ever touches the bottomland. LWN, Co. is usually already working by then: mowing, edging, trimming, clearing clippings off the concrete, tidying beds and hauling leaves once fall sets in. The season runs from a late, cautious spring to a fast October, so nearly everything gets packed into the middle. What holds it together is repetition done well — the same lawn, the same lines, every week, until the yard simply looks like that. Around Elizabethton and the Watauga, that steadiness is worth more than anything flashy.
