High Forest Tree Service

About High Forest Tree Service

Hohenwald was named for the high forest it sits in, up on the Lewis County ridges where hardwoods run unbroken toward the Buffalo River. High Forest Tree Service works that timber where it meets people's houses — tree removal for oaks and hickories that have outgrown a yard or gone hollow at the base, tree trimming and pruning to keep limbs off metal roofs and porch lines. Wind on the ridgetops finds weak wood first, so storm damage cleanup is a season of its own here: tops down across gravel drives, brush pulled out of fence rows, all of it hauled instead of piled. The quiet afterward is the payoff — a clean stump face, an open yard, daylight where a dead crown used to sit. Ridge country asks for that upkeep, and it pays the care back in shade.
