Cowboy Dirt Work and Stump Grinding

About Cowboy Dirt Work and Stump Grinding

The coves off Sanders Ferry hold their quiet a while in the morning, and the yards sloping down toward Drakes Creek grow more tree than most of them have room for. Cowboy Dirt Work and Stump Grinding sorts that out around Hendersonville — tree removal for the crowded and the compromised, tree trimming to keep what stays in proportion to the house. Then comes the stump: stump grinding takes it below grade, the hole gets filled with its own chips, and the ground comes back level enough for a mower and a couple of lawn chairs. Sumner County soil closes over a ground stump fast, and within a season there is nothing left to mark it. Handing somebody back a piece of yard they had written off is a fine way to spend a morning.
