Cherry and Son Sales

About Cherry and Son Sales

By late October the sweetgums and oaks around Chester County let go all at once, and a yard that was tidy on Friday is ankle-deep by Sunday. Cherry and Son Sales takes on that turn of the year — leaf cleanup, mowing while the grass still asks for it, edges and trim lines kept honest into the cold. Henderson yards run from close-clipped town lots to wide grassy stretches out where the pavement gives way to gravel, and both get the same attention. There is a particular pleasure in the after: bare turf, raked beds, the drive swept, the whole place breathing again. Then spring comes and it begins over with the first warm cut.
