Horton Excavating & Tree Service

About Horton Excavating & Tree Service

Fog comes off the Emory River at Harriman on cool mornings and hangs in the bottoms until the sun clears the Cumberland foothills. Horton Excavating & Tree Service starts in that gray, taking on tree removal in the river lots and hillside yards of Roane County — whatever leans over a house, a shop or the only road out. Tree trimming and pruning keep the rest in check, lifting limbs off rooflines and opening crowns so the wind moves through instead of pushing. When a storm crosses Watts Bar and stacks limbs across a driveway, storm damage cleanup gets the way open, the wood cut and the ground put back to level. The day ends right when a place looks like the weather never came through at all.
