Dixon’s Tree Service

About Dixon’s Tree Service

By the middle of October the maples along Greeneville's brick streets go the color of a struck match, and the Big Spring downtown runs clear under a scatter of leaves. Dixon's Tree Service keeps the old town trees in shape, with tree trimming and pruning that clear a sign, a porch roof or a sidewalk without leaving a tree looking hacked at, and tree removal when a trunk has hollowed past holding. Autumn wind off the ridge finds every weak union in a crown, and storm damage cleanup is the unglamorous half of the trade: limbs out of the street, brush chipped, the walk clear before dark. A well-pruned tree does not announce itself; it just stands there looking like it grew that way. Greeneville has plenty of trees worth that trouble.
