Kinch's Lawn Care

About Kinch's Lawn Care

Sound carries in Gray: the low hum of I-26 out past the ridge, a mower two streets over, cicadas working the hardwoods by noon in July. Kinch's Lawn Care adds its own line to that — a steady pass and turn across the front, then the back, then the trimmer along the fence. The soil up here is thin over limestone in places, so a lawn earns its green and deserves to be cut with some care. Midsummer afternoons in Washington County can flatten a person, which is why the work starts early and the water jug is never far. What is left at the end is simple and good: an even cut, clean edges, nothing tracked onto the walk.
