Victor's Lawn and Maintenance

About Victor's Lawn and Maintenance

July dusk in Gallatin comes on slow, cicadas rising and falling in the tree line while the neighborhoods off Airport Road give back a few degrees at a time. That last hour of light is good mowing weather, and the grass — fed by afternoon storms that blow through and leave everything steaming — takes the cut better for it. The round is mowing, string trimming around posts and beds, edging along the drive, and clearing the walks so nothing gets tracked indoors. Yards in Sumner County grow fast and forgive little, which is why they are handled on a schedule rather than once they've gotten away from somebody. A lawn that looks even at sundown is a small, ordinary triumph, and it's the one worth having.
