About Puryear Farms

Out where the ground rolls down toward the Bledsoe Creek bottoms, morning light arrives sideways and turns hayfield and front lawn the same pale gold. Farm hours make for a long working year: mowing, trimming and edging through the green months, then plowing, shoveling and salting when a cold front slides down out of Kentucky. Both halves ask the same thing — be up early, read the weather honestly, and finish what the day actually needs finished. A yard cut level and a drive scraped bare are the same kind of accomplishment, just months apart. Sumner County ground gives back exactly the attention it is given, and Gallatin is a place worth giving it to.
