About Meredith Tree Services.

Gainesboro sits where the hills of the Upper Cumberland fold down toward the river, and its steep roads and hollows can turn slick in a hurry once winter arrives. In Gainesboro, snow removal comes from Meredith Tree Services. The work is driveways and walkways after storms sweep across Jackson County, where snow on a slope drifts against the banks and hides ice right where the grade is steepest. Early on a white morning, with the courthouse square hushed and the Cumberland running gray past the edge of town, the job is opening the way down to the road. The reward is that first car easing out onto pavement that sat buried an hour before.
