About Riverview Excavating and Construction, LLC

Friendsville takes its name from the Quaker Friends who settled this quiet corner of Blount County, and a little of that gentleness still lingers in its streets. On a clear winter afternoon the Great Smoky Mountains stand frosted and blue along the eastern sky, and on the rarer days when snow reaches the valley too, Riverview Excavating and Construction, LLC goes to work on snow removal. An excavating and construction outfit understands weight and earth, and that same feel for heavy work goes into clearing driveways, lanes and lots once the flakes stop falling. Late light slanting across a scraped drive turns the leftover banks pink and gold, the road beyond open and waiting. It is a neighborly kind of labor, well suited to a town named for friends.
