Spring Green

About Spring Green

Trains still run through Thompson's Station past the little depot the town grew up around, and the place has kept some of that rhythm — regular, unhurried, on schedule. Spring Green keeps yards on the same beat: mowing, edging, trimming and cleanup work from thaw to leaf-fall, plus snow plowing, walk clearing and ice treatment for the mornings that come in hard and white. Frost lies in the low fields here long after the highway has dried, which is the sort of thing you only learn by driving these roads at daybreak. A tended lawn in June and an open drive in January are the same promise kept twice. Serving Thompson's Station, Spring Hill, Franklin, Burwood and Bethesda.
