About Alonso Lawn Care

Winter arrives in Fairview sideways: sleet first, then a thin glaze that finds every north-facing driveway before the sun clears the trees. Alonso Lawn Care works ahead of it, plowing drives and clearing walks and steps while Highway 100 is still dark and empty. Come April the same routes turn loud and green and the work changes hands — mowing in straight passes, trimming close to the posts, edging, then blowing the walks clean. A driveway that is simply, plainly clear is its own kind of satisfaction; so is a yard that looks finished from the mailbox. Snow or midsummer, the aim doesn't move.
