Jay’s lawncare

About Jay’s lawncare

Morning fog settles into the old mill blocks of Englewood and lifts slowly, and the small front yards along those streets come out of it wet and bright. Jay's lawncare starts the day there — mowing, trimming close around porch piers and clothesline posts, cutting the sidewalk edges back to a clean line, blowing the walks off before moving on. These are compact yards where every detail shows, so the details get the time. A yard in this part of McMinn County can look transformed in twenty minutes, which never quite stops being satisfying. Through the fall the routes carry on with leaf work and end-of-season tidying.
