Mean Green Lawns and Landscapes

About Mean Green Lawns and Landscapes

July builds its own weather out here. All afternoon the heat stacks up over the Mississippi bottoms until a thunderhead comes across the river, drops an inch on Dyer County and leaves the whole place steaming. Mean Green Lawns and Landscapes works the mornings ahead of that — mowing, trimming, edging and hauling clippings, getting yards cut before the sky makes up its mind. Grass grows hard in that combination of heat and rain, so the answer is simply showing up, week after week, until October finally slows it down. And when the year turns and Dyersburg gets one of its rare white mornings, the same crew is out clearing drives and walks instead.
