Langston Lawn Service

About Langston Lawn Service

September evenings run long and gold in Dyersburg, the light coming sideways down the Newbern road and making every mowed stripe stand up and show itself. Langston Lawn Service works that stretch of the year hardest — mowing, trimming and edging while the grass still has ambition and the heat has finally loosened its grip. There is a real satisfaction in a yard finished at that hour: the lines straight, the walk swept, the whole thing catching the last of the sun. Winter here is short on snow and heavy on gray, but on the mornings it does turn white the crew is out clearing drives and walkways before the day gets going.
