Yard Guys

About Yard Guys

Late afternoon in Dyer, shade crosses the front yards a block at a time and people drift out onto their porches. Yard Guys aim to be finished by then — mowing done, trimming tight around the mailbox and the porch steps, walks blown clear so the evening starts clean. It is small-town work in the best sense: the same streets week after week, the yards remembered, the edges kept where you left them. West Tennessee grass rewards consistency more than heroics, and a lawn on a regular cut simply looks different from one that isn't. When the leaves come down the routes stay the same and the rakes come out.
