About Walker's Dirt Work LLC

February in Sequatchie County is a freeze-and-thaw affair, and nowhere shows it like the gravel drives that climb out of the hollows around Dunlap — rutted one week, iron-hard the next, snowed under the week after. Walker's Dirt Work LLC handles the snowed-under part, plowing those drives and the lots at the bottom of them, opening walkways and scattering grit where the grade turns treacherous. Gravel takes a lighter touch than pavement and a steadier hand; getting it right means a clear lane without a windrow of rock thrown into the yard. Come daylight, folks get out, and that is the entire measure of the job. Dunlap, Daus and north to Pikeville.
