Gomez Tree Service

About Gomez Tree Service

Down along the Piney River the bottomland grows sycamore and box elder fast and soft, and the first hard wind of July comes to collect. Gomez Tree Service clears that — limbs off fences and sheds, split trunks taken down, the whole tangle cut, loaded and carried out until the yard opens back up. On ordinary days it's trimming and pruning: getting a silver maple off a roof edge, lifting a canopy so a mower and a truck can both get through. Dickson County summers run long and green and heavy, and trees put on more weight here than people expect. Leaving a place quiet at dusk, cicadas going, nothing left behind but the smell of sawdust — that's the part that matters.
