Yeager's Lawn Service

About Yeager's Lawn Service

May in Dayton smells like strawberries and cut grass at the same time, and the evenings finally stretch long enough to finish a yard after supper. Yeager's Lawn Service works those hours, mowing while the light holds, trimming around trees and posts, edging a walk until the line comes back crisp. Spring cleanups come first, then the weekly cut, then the leaves in their own good time. Rain can put a schedule three days behind and the grass will not wait, so the week gets rearranged and the work still gets done. A mowed lawn at dusk in early summer is one of the plain pleasures of this town.
