Turf Tenders

About Turf Tenders

Summer light lasts a long while on the plateau; at nine o'clock in June there is still enough of it to finish one more yard. Turf Tenders uses every bit of that, working Crossville and the small crossroads places like Pomona and Dorton with mowing on rotation, trimming where the deck misses, and drive edges cut back to a line. Grass here grows over sandstone and a thin skin of dirt, so an even, thick lawn is an achievement rather than an accident. Packing up at dusk with cut grass still hanging in the air, the day makes sense. That is the pleasure hidden inside the work.
