Wyatt's Lawn & Landscape

About Wyatt's Lawn & Landscape

By late November the tobacco barns around Cross Plains have gone quiet and the grass has slowed to almost nothing, which is when a yard gets its last good cut of the year. Wyatt's Lawn & Landscape works that whole arc, mowing and trimming through the growing months, edging the walks, and hauling off the leaf and stalk litter that packs against fences once the wind turns. Robertson County ground rolls enough that no two properties mow alike, and learning a yard takes a season. The payoff shows up in small ways: a border that stays where you put it, turf that comes back thick in the spring. Cross Plains looks like itself when the yards along its roads are tended, and tending them is a fine way to spend a year.
