About Craig Bjelland Tree Services

Crab Orchard gave its name to a stone: the layered plateau sandstone quarried here, streaked in buff and rose, that ended up in walls and walkways far beyond Tennessee. Around town that same stone still frames porches and garden edges, and grass beside it only earns its place when it is trimmed close. Craig Bjelland Tree Services brings lawn care to Crab Orchard, with mowing, string-trimming along stonework and edging where turf meets the walk. On the plateau, spring arrives later than in the valleys below, and the first cuts come in cool, bright weather. The result is clean turf laid right up to the stone, the way the old masons would have wanted it.
