About Pickwick Lawn and Home

Pickwick Lake spreads out from Counce in long blue arms, and in summer every cove fills with boat wakes, dock lines and lawns sloping toward the water. Pickwick Lawn and Home brings lawn care to Counce, with mowing, edging and trimming for homes near the shoreline and back from it. A lakeside lawn is seen from two sides, from the road and from the water, so the cut has to look right from both. The work runs through the heat of boating season, when grass grows as fast as the weekend traffic on the lake. Idle into a cove at golden hour, and a clean-cut slope reads from fifty yards out.
