About Rocky Top Site Works, LLC

Winter in Cosby is a matter of elevation: rain in the creek bottoms, wet snow halfway up, and a real white blanket in the coves where the land starts climbing toward the park boundary. Rocky Top Site Works, LLC clears the steep gravel drives and switchbacked lanes that make this country beautiful in July and complicated in January. Plowing, hand-shoveling at the doors and de-icing on the shaded pitches all come as one job here, because an open drive at the top does nobody good if the last fifty feet are glass. The reward is watching someone roll down to Cosby Creek and out to the highway without a second thought. When the wind turns and the clouds stack up against English Mountain, the trucks get ready.
