About Putnam County Tree Service

An ice storm on the Upper Cumberland doesn't roar; it ticks. All night the freezing rain glazes Putnam County's oaks a quarter-inch at a time until something gives, and morning is a county of broken tops and blocked driveways. Putnam County Tree Service works out of Cookeville through days like that — clearing the storm damage, taking down what's past saving, cutting the rest back to sound wood so it holds next time. In easier weather the same day goes into a canopy, pruning deadwood out of a shade tree that shelters half a backyard. Cookeville sits high enough to catch every kind of weather the plateau sends down I-40, and the trees keep the score.
