About Melissas landscaping

Late October in Collinwood comes down from the ridges one leaf at a time, oak and hickory letting go over the back roads until every yard wears a patchwork of rust and gold. Melissas landscaping meets that season with lawn care that keeps the grass breathing underneath: a final mow or two, tidy borders, leaves lifted off the turf before they mat down. Wayne County is deep timber country, and in this town the woods are never far from the back fence. That closeness is part of the charm, and part of the work. When the evening light goes amber, a cleared lawn shows its true green against all that fallen color.
