Superior Shine

About Superior Shine

Ice is the news in this part of the Tennessee Valley, not snow — a February night when rain turns to glaze and Apison Pike goes quiet and glassy by morning. Superior Shine watches those forecasts the way farmers watch clouds, and when it comes the trucks are out plowing driveways, scraping walks down to bare concrete, and laying salt where shade holds the freeze longest. Collegedale sits low enough that cold pools and lingers, so the shaded corner of a lot gets treated twice rather than once. The reward is simple: a drive cleared while the porch light is still burning, and a car that backs out without a single slip. Snow and ice work for Collegedale, Ooltewah, and the roads running east toward Apison.
