About TN DIRT PROS

The ground runs red across Bradley County, and on the mornings it goes hard and white, TN DIRT PROS is already out in it. Work starts in the dark on the clay hills toward Apison and Blue Springs, where a driveway can pitch just enough to strand a truck until the salt takes hold. Plowing, shoveling the walk from the door to the mailbox, treating the ice that sets up in the shade of a hedge and stays there all day — that is the whole of a winter morning here. Cleveland takes its snow in short, serious visits, and the point is to have pavement bare and gritted before anyone has to think about it. By the time the sun clears the ridge and the roofs begin to drip, the hard part is behind you.
