Stump Busters

About Stump Busters

Out toward Hopewell the ridges run northeast and the farms open up, and a January thaw turns the fields to mud while north-facing drives stay locked in ice. Stump Busters works both sides of that ground — mowing, trimming and edging through the green months, cleanups when the leaves and limbs come down, and plow work when Bradley County gets the snow it was not expecting. Walks and steps come clear by shovel, and salt goes on the shaded runs where meltwater turns treacherous after sundown. In summer the same properties get a weekly cut and a straight border along every drive. Cleveland, Hopewell and Georgetown make up most of the week.
