About Yards with Stripes Inc.

Winter mornings here come in gray and low over the Red River bottoms, and a Clarksville driveway can glaze over in the dark without anyone hearing a thing. Yards with Stripes Inc. is out ahead of that — plowing drives and lots, clearing walks by hand, spreading ice melt so the first car of the day backs out onto bare pavement. Then the hills around Dunbar Cave green up again, and the same trucks return with mowers to cut the alternating light-and-dark bands the name promises, laid straight, wall to wall, with every drive and walkway trimmed sharp along the seam. Spring and fall cleanups take away what the wind piled up, and the following week the pattern goes down fresh. Twelve months in one town, and both halves of the year leave a mark you can see from the curb.
