CC's Lawn Service

About CC's Lawn Service

Seven o'clock on a June evening in St. Bethlehem, the heat finally lets go and every yard on the street smells like cut grass. CC's Lawn Service spends its Clarksville days in that green — mowing on a steady schedule, edging drives and walks into a crisp line, trimming close around mailboxes, fences and trees. Summers here are long and generous to grass, which means a lawn can get away from you in a single wet week. The pleasure is in the before-and-after: shaggy at four, tidy and striped by dusk, the clippings blown off the concrete so the whole thing reads clean. Neighborhood by neighborhood, that's the work.
