Sweaty's Lawn Care

About Sweaty's Lawn Care

July in the valley earns its reputation — by ten the humidity is standing perfectly still over Alton Park and East Lake, and grass cut on Saturday is already reaching for the sky. Sweaty's Lawn Care goes out into it anyway: mowing on a weekly turn, trimming around fence posts and crepe myrtles, edging the sidewalk back to one straight line, blowing the clippings off the drive. There is a particular pleasure in a Chattanooga yard finished at noon in August — sharp, even, and somehow cool-looking when nothing else is. When the heat finally breaks and the leaves come down, those same yards get cleared.
