Spider Tree Service

About Spider Tree Service

Signal Mountain drops off hard, and plenty of Chattanooga houses are pinned to that slope with their trees standing above the roof. Spider Tree Service goes up into them, with a line over a high anchor, a saddle, and a hemlock coming down in bites small enough to carry off a hillside by hand. On the flats it's simpler: trimming for room, pruning back what has died in the crown, removing whatever is leaning wrong. Weather comes over the brow without much warning and lays limbs across steep driveways, and that cleanup is a puzzle of gravity and rope. Getting a big tree off a mountainside without a mark on the yard is the part worth being proud of.
